Building a website in Almaty: what makes up the price and how not to overpay

Websites3 min read23 October 2026

People search Google for «создание сайта алматы» ("website development Almaty") 3,600 times a month (Google Ads data, October 2026). Prices in different offers vary several times over, and it's unclear what you're paying for. We explain what makes up the cost and how to choose wisely.

What makes up the price

  1. Number of pages and structure. A single landing page and a site with a catalog, services, a blog and pages for different cities are different amounts of work.
  2. Design. A ready-made template is cheaper; a custom design for your brand costs more.
  3. Texts and photos. Who prepares them: you or the contractor.
  4. Features. A calculator, catalog, cart, payment, customer account.
  5. Integrations. Leads sent to WhatsApp, Telegram, amoCRM; data exchange with 1C.
  6. Languages. Russian, Kazakh, English — each version takes work.
  7. Getting ready for search (SEO). Speed, markup, pages for search queries.
  8. Admin panel. The ability to change prices and texts yourself.
  9. Support after launch. Hosting, edits, updates.

When you compare offers, check which items from this list they include. A cheap offer is often cheap because half of these items are missing.

What a website that brings in leads should have

  • Prices, or at least "prices from".
  • A visible WhatsApp button.
  • Answers to common questions.
  • Real reviews and examples of work.
  • Fast loading on phones.
  • Lead tracking: where each customer came from.

Examples from our work

  • Rolled metal, Astana. We launched a site with an order calculator and an admin panel in 3 days. It scores 100 for SEO in the Google Lighthouse test.
  • Facade panels, BAQ Stroy. The calculator works out the panels, fixings and weight for a house, there are pages for 22 cities, and each lead arrives in WhatsApp with a note on which ad the customer came from.
  • Mir Matrasov mattress factory, Almaty. Three languages, 11 city pages, 100 out of 100 in PageSpeed Insights, and every lead goes straight into amoCRM.

5 questions to ask the developer before you pay

  1. Will I be able to change prices, texts and photos myself?
  2. Who will own the website and the domain? They should be registered in your name.
  3. Where will leads go? WhatsApp, Telegram, a CRM — and whether you'll see where each one came from.
  4. What about speed and SEO? Ask to see the results of past projects.
  5. What happens after launch? Who fixes errors, and how much it costs.

What not to cut corners on

  • Speed and the mobile version. Most people visit from their phones.
  • Lead tracking. Without it, you won't know which ads work.
  • Texts with prices and answers. They sell, and they help you show up in search and in AI answers.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build a website?

From a few days to a few weeks, depending on the scope. We launched a site with a calculator for a rolled-metal company in 3 days.

Do I need a website if I have Instagram?

Instagram brings leads from ads. A website brings trust, customers from Google search and mentions in AI answers. It's best to have both.

Can I start simple and expand later?

Yes. It often makes sense to launch the core first and add a catalog, a blog and integrations as you grow.
